Awhile back, Zedd brought you THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD. It's a good movie, don't get me wrong. But it's nothing compared to the 1982 remake starring Kurt Russell and directed by John Carpenter. In the original the alien stood six foot tall and looked like a monster. But what John Carpenter did, he placed in a little INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHER. Now let me explain, if you haven't seen this before. A group of artic research scientist rescue a dog from a what they thought was a crazed Dutch Man.

But the Dog isn't a dog at all, it's an alien monster that survived thousands of years in the ice. It took the form of the dog after killing it an obsorbing his DNA. Now the dog is dead, but the alien alien broke a piece of itself off and is one of the men of the complex. Now we get the BODY SNATCHER thing, no one one knows whose human anymore or whose become a monster.

This movie has some of the best creature effects ever in a film and if you were unlucky enough not to have seen this THE THING, then you don't know what you've been missing.
