THE TINGLER, the second movie colaberation between Vincent Prince and director William Castle. This is a pretty cool movie and an interesting concept. What if when we are terrorified a creature forms on our spin and would kill us if we don't scream.

Dr. Warren Chapin spent is life trying to prove the existance of this creature, which he dubs the Tingler. When the deaf mute wife of a silence movie house dies of fright he gets his chance and removes the creature. But when it escapes, can he recapture it. Sure it was just a rubber monster on the end of a string, but the way the movement of pulling it on the string gave the illusion that it's little legs was moving it.

A simplisitic effect but works none the less and Vicent does a great job as Dr. Warren Chapin. That's THE TINGLER, if you haven't seen it yet rent it, if you have BUY IT.
