In 2004 Kelsey Grammer stared in a musical version of a Christmas Carol and they boasted it was a version that has been done before. ENNNT! Wrongo! The year was 1970 and Albert Finney starred in the first musical version of A Christmas Carol, titled just SCROOGE.

The story is about the same with some minor variations and co-Starring Alec Guinness (who later be playing Obi-Wan Kanobi in STAR WARS).

You might have heard a song from this movie called "THANK YOU VERY MUCH" on a recent car commerical.

Anyway, this is one of the best versions of Charles Dickon's masterpiece and the music is great, if you liked Kelsey Grammer's version then you must see SCROOGE.
