Before Metropolis movie monsters was just make up, the robot girl in Metropolis is the first full monster costume and thanks to it's success it's not the last.

The story is about a future where workers work in strange factorys with no breaks and no lunch. Unions don't exists and still the owners complain and make plans to replace the workers with robots go into place.

This plays on the fears of workers being replaced by automation factories and the robot suit really works. It's a classic everyone should see, even though it is a bit long for a silent. But give it a chance and you will enjoy staying in METROPOLIS.
